Essay Contest

The subject for the essay contest is:  “When All the World’s
Problems are Solved, is Optimism Still Necessary?”

Essay length is to be 700-800 words (Title, footnotes, and bibliography are not included in the final word count).  Words are to be counted manually.  Optimist Club of Reno must receive essays by February 6, 2019, to be eligible for the contest.

After the Optimist Club of Reno receives your application, an invitation will be sent to invite you to a banquet where the winners will be announced.

If you are interested in either contest, please fill out the appropriate application form.  You may only apply for one contest.  Please ensure you carefully read and understand the contest rules.
